Rules to Be Followed
When Carrying Competition Equipment Into and Out of China
for RoboCup 2015

    For a successful RoboCup and for your convenient entering and exiting China, we would like to remind you of the following rules of the People’s Republic of China:

    I. All the equipment you carry into China must be truthfully declared. The declaration of the goods should be proceeded in accordance with the provisions of the Announcement of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (No. 72 [2007]). Please refer to Attachment 2.

    II. Those players who bring in competition equipment should make preparations to declare them at customs. Those who declare goods for temporary import and export are required, according to rules and regulations, to pay a certain amount of tariff deposit. When the team leaves China, those who demand for refund with the relevant documents obtained when entering China can get the refund at the airport of the exit port (the same as the entry airport, as required). If your exit port is not the same entry port, those who have brought in equipment have to entrust an agency to send the equipment home from the airport of the same entry port and get back the tariff deposit, otherwise, not refund will be returned. Therefore, we suggest you enter and exit via the same port (airport).

    III. In accordance with the Order of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (No. 43 [1993]), entries of some goods are prohibited, please refer to Attachment 3.

    IV. According to international aviation practice and norms, a battery with the capacity of more than 160WH is not allowed to take into an aircraft. If you need such a battery, please contact Li Xiang (Tel: + 86 13866114718, mailbox: [email protected]) as soon as possible, so that the Organizing Committee can buy a suitable battery on your behalf in advance at local market.

    V. If you have entrusted an agent to ship your equipment into China, please send all the detailed information of the shipment to the designated freight forwarder of the organizing committee prior to June 15 (Anhui Technology Imp & Exp Co., Ltd. contact: Li Jiayue, Tel: +86 13955155603, [email protected]) . This agency will fulfill the temporary import and export procedures for you on your behalf.

    VI. All the participants are kindly required to fill out the form of the Attachment 1 as soon as possible. Please send the completed form to the logistics & reception team of the organizing committee (contact: Hu Weiguang, Tel: +86 18110913292, [email protected] , [email protected] )
